I am assuming you have the latest MSH Windows application and have updated the firmware on the gyro
If not, get it from here:
The iKON and the Brain are the same unit and designed & manufactured by MSH.
It is likely you did not completely follow the on-screen Wizard for the setup.
The last step is to check that cyclic compensation moves in the correct direction.
It sounds like yours is not correct.
When you are bench testing, power up the heli and wait for it to finish the initialization (3 pitch pumps).
Pick up the heli:
Tilt it nose down - the swash should tilt backwards and try to maintain a horizontal orientation (not perfectly - but in general)
Roll the body left - the swash should tilt right and try to maintain a horizontal orientation.
If you tilt the nose down and the swash tilts forward, the compensation is backwards
There are two most likely causes for this:
* Two of the swash servos are plugged into the wrong ports on the gyro.
** Check page 4 for the wiring diagram
** Check page 5 for transmitter setup. Make sure the channels move in the same direction as the sticks on the transmitter and you have at least 100% travel
** Check page 6 to make sure you have the correct swash type selected and the servo leads are plugged into the correct ports
** Check page 7 to make sure you set the servo reversing correctly.
* The gyro's "orientation" does not match what you selected in the "orientation" screen
** Check page 9 for "Unit Orientation".
Start with page 1 of the Wizard setup and read the detailed instructions on the left side of the screen.EDIT:
Oops, I should have looked at the date the original question was posted. He either figured it out or gave up.
