Hello,

Can I go directly to step J (Teaching Cyclic Pitch Geometry) on the Beast controller? All if want/need to do is to adjust the pitch.

Regards, Dave

yes you can!

FYI
Just don't stop at G
- if you do, make sure you are on a color
- otherwise swash plate will not be leveled

Hello,

Thanks for getting back to me. I just wanted to know if I can do one (or more) of the setup steps, if needed, look like I can. I want want to see if I have to do them all, if I only wanted to adjust one parameter.
I have borrowed a swash leveling tool and have adjusted my swash plate to be level by making the needed mechanical adjustments, (no subtrims, etc required).

Regards, Dave

Let me give you some examples:
Let say you adjusted Parameter A & D
- press the button to cycle through them all

Let say you are on Parameter G
- first time you are leveling it
- you have to do all 3 cyclics
- than the adjustments are stored in Beastx
- if you go into just one cyclic under Parameter G, you can press the button as long as a LED lighted up

FYI
You have to make sure the
- Servo to Swashplate links are same length
- Servo are centered
- if Servo to swashplate links are not the same, the travel will be different
- adjust links according to Align Trex 500 ESP FBL specs

The steps for a new setup should be followed in order. There are some later steps that are dependent on the settings of an earlier step. After a setup is complete, you can skip right to any step, but a setting you change may effect some later step. If you understand the dependencies and are sure, you can just step through to the end to save the new setting. If you don't, then at least check the later steps to make sure the change you made didn't effect them.
