Directions to our field

From I-5 exit at 128th (exit 186) and go east approximately 3.5 miles to Seattle Hill Road. Turn northwest (left) following the signs directing you toward Snohomish. The road winds down a steep hill at about 1.5 miles and at the bottom of the hill turn left onto Marsh Road.

From SR-9, turn onto Marsh Road either left or right depending on which direction you are coming from. Follow Marsh Road west about 1.25 miles till you see Hagen’s Vegetable stand. The graveled road to the field is about 600 feet to the west of the stand. Go north on this road about 1500 feet, or approximately 3/10 of a mile, until you get to our entrance gates on the east side of the road and the irrigation ditch.

From I-405, Either take I-405 North to I-5 then follow the I-5 directions above or take I-405 North to SR-522 East (exit 23). Follow SR-522 East approximately 2.5mi then onto SR-9 North. Continue on SR-9 (approximately 10 mi) to Marsh Road . Make left onto Marsh Rd. Make right onto gravel road to field just before Marsh Rd. begins a 90 degree jog to the left.

Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people. HSH Club

The landing fee is 35.00$ but you must have fun or we charge double.

It is time to start packing.

Update

The weather forecast is good and field has been prepared...all we need is YOU! And now for some details.

Directions to the field can be found on the club web page

http://www.cascademodelheli.org

Todd Bennett and Jamie Robertson have arrived and the class begins today. As a reminder, the north end of the field is reserved for the class Tuesday and Wednesday. Please refrain from setting up anything permanent until Wednesday at 10am.

The road to the field was graded earlier this year and is in good shape.

As you leave Marsh road and start down the unpaved road to the field entrance, you might notice a few bee boxes on the right. It's a good idea to keep your windows rolled up as you pass them.

The food vendor will be on site Thursday.

Night flying operations under the lights will be Friday and Saturday.

Hope to see you soon.

I forgot to mention that the owner of an MD500 (full size) that occasionally visits our field said he plans on landing at the field (likely Sunday) but that is subject to any changes in his schedule.
