Solid consistency through the whole pack. Not a hint of dip at the end. Now to be fair, this is partially due to a good battery. I went with the recommended 4 minute timer and it just feels so solid that I can't even tell the end is coming.
Again for me who doesn't have a self starting timer on my TX (old DX7), forgetting to start it can be catastrophic for the packs with a governor. Running curves I know when the end of the flight is near plus you can fly a little longer.
this is partially due to a good battery.
Mainly due to the over gearing though and thus the need for bigger more expensive ESC's.

I thought one can fly a little longer if the gov is on,less over speeding,is it possible to turn the gov off somehow without the programming box.

The older versions V3 and below were 'stick' programmable but the latest V4's (Align) need either the programming box or the bluetooth module.

Yes but at a cost of heat dissipation since ESC run cooler at full speed. The overspeeding or blade inertia is what makes the Mcdoodle maneuver impresive.

If you have a means for data logging, you can verify this information as well as experiment with governor off to find that V curve that will give you constant head speed that emulates the governor.

I have experimented-played with data logging but never bothered to post all those screens. I did find a good read from someone that did the same but had more time to post than fly. Matter of fact, going flying after this post. PM if interested in link.

No. You are stuck with ESC default values.

Ok thanks so my head speed would change in flight, from actual flight to flight due to batteries,in other words if one battery were older than another, the head speed would change.
