Does anyone know the difference between SSR-7 pitch arms 0414-304 and SSR-8 pitch arms 0414-513 and do 0414-513 fit on SSR-7 blade grips?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, just seen you PM.

TBH i'm not a SSR head expert but everything I can grab my hands on tells me that you could use either blade grip on that head.

It's about whether it can bolt to the blade grip which is a SSZ-II grip.

I don't have a manual for the SSR-VIII head. If you do, please send it my way and will add to my collection. If the SSR-VIII uses the same blade grip 0414-226 then it's confirmed but i'm 99% sure that all the SSZ blade grips have the same bolts and bolt spacings.

As for the differences between the 2 pitch arms. Don't know unless I see them side by side. Could be different offset from centre for better different resolution or different delta, not sure but don't think either would effect flying significantly.

Hope that helps, if you have the SSR-8 manual please send my way.

Thanks for reply and input. Unfortunately I don't have SSR-8 manual or been able to locate one on the web. That's the reason why I was asking if they are compatible, as I am in the dark in this regard. I agree with you that most likely the pitch arms for SSR-8 can be used in SSR-7 as the bolt pattern should be the same for both head blade grips. I would be very surprised if they are not.

Thanks again for your help and reply.

Here you go the difference between SSR7 and SSR8

The only differences are pitch arm, mixing arm and stronger center hub, the center hub can be used on existing SSR7 as a hop up parts to stiff up the SSR7.

The mixing arm is actually SSR-III mixing arm.

These parts makes SSR8 hovers better in windy condition, but still not as good as SSZ-5, but it's very nice for acrobatics

To answer your question, yes the SSR8 pitch arm fits SSR7 blade grip.
