We know who's the real problem. People coming in has slowed but the huge problem of illegal immigrants is still hear, working at local businesses washing dishes, cooking, cleaning, doing construction etc.. There isn't a shortage of Businesses who will hire them for less than the normal wage and also not paying into SS, Medicare, Payroll taxes.

I say change the currant laws and prosecute the employer, because they are the problem.........

I made a mistake once, but I was wrong?

Once again you have no clue. i thought you were a "contractor" and should be familiar with the LEGAL hiring process.

Employers are REQUIRED BY LAW to document hires on a I9. Hires provide the necessary identification and the employer records this on the I9. Now the employer has NO WAY of knowing if the provided documents are false.
If a employer is caught he's given a opportunity to correct the information or is fined. If caught they are routinely visited to be sure they are in compliance.

The problem is the past administration did not focus on the issue as it would destroy their voter base.
Now we have a administration that ain't screwing around and is trying ( despite every effort by the opposing party) to fix it.

Just curious how do you verify the status of a employee to know to boycott that business?

Exactly.
Obama and Lynch should be at the top of the list they let it go on. I sure don't see Trump and Sessions letting this stuff slide by.

like I already stated in another thread..

those "dollar" menus and cheap groceries come at a cost...

its easy to stop supporting local businesses that have foreigners(H1Bs) and illegals as their base employees... but we as individuals better get used to paying more for those cheap items we get every day.

look what happened in many cities that increased the minimum wage to $15 hr... those workers (our citizens mind you) were all excited... then the food stamp office cut them off cause they were now "making too much money" to receive benefits... so these same people, that were protesting in the streets, are now crying about their raise, and asking for fewer hours, so that they fall below that threshold...so $hit.

yeah its easy to blame the employer... its we the consumer that enables the problem. so what do we do when a business raises prices to compensate? fire the "expensive" citizen for the cheaper import to make you a burger for $2.00 instead of $10.

And I agree, too many illegals already now how to game the system, they produce false documents that pass local scrutiny... so its not a single issue here, but rather a problem that must be dealt with in several areas at once.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Well then its us as consumers that are at fault, employers are just trying to keep their prices low for the consumers.
Maybe we should blame our employers because they are not paying us enough to pay more money for services that are being provided by illegal aliens.

Do you realize Trump married an illegal alien, who he also hired as a model in one of his many companies, prior to their marriage.

Also who do you think picks grapes at his vineyard. His pay is so low, that normal Americans would not take this job but instead are farmed out to folks south of the boarder. He does this legally by stating he cannot get locals. what do you expect if you only pay them a few dollars an hour, by calling this contract work. Not even your teens would be interested in this work. he's great ( Trump ) at finding ways to rip folks off to save money to gold plate his toilet.

Posted by you awhile back. You could at least try and remember what you post....................................
Check the estimates. I'm in large construction. A wall of that magnitude would end up costing 100 Billion easy especially since the government "contractors" would line up to charge $60 a 2x4. I've seen this first hand. Every one of these contractors has a retired Military General as a high level employee so the money flows smoothly......
What's the difference?
You need to be punished.
For what?

I agree the employers are to blame in part. My company e-verifies all employees to make sure they are legal when hired. I can also tell you as an employer that has had to fire illegals, that they work twice as hard as 90% of any legal employee I have ever had.

Mike it's called reading comprehension. Your states educational system rears its ugly head again.

You know what that's not a cool thing to say. In your ****ing fantasy land, "I'm in large construction" and "I'm a contractor" mean the same thing..........
