Of the two online retailers that I know of (Monkey Depot and Black Ops Toys), Black Ops Toys is the only one that has helicopter pilot figures in stock. One is the limited edition 160th SOAR pilot Todd Dunn (nearly 400 dollars) and the second one is the newest Army Helicopter pilot (nearly 200), which could be used in any current helicopter. I have seen very few of the 160th SOAR figures for resale and they are going up depending on current demand. I have two of the Army pilots and those are being redressed for use in an MH-6 used in the Battle of Mogadishu. You might find some of the female helicopter pilot figures from Hasbro released a number of years ago online and the prices are not horrible. You can also try at Scale-Pilots.CH. Good luck.

I just want to spend a reasonable amount of money of the scale heli pilots. Paying for one that costs about 1/5 of the resale value of the scale heli is too much but thanks for the tips.

1/6 scale are easy because they are just standard 12" figures, which are very readily available on eBay for a few $, with a few million clothing & accessory items to go with them. Other sizes not so much.

Actually 1/7 or 1/8 10" is the best size for 600 500E scale fuse and must look like their real life counterparts such as helicopter helmets with headset and uniform, flexible arms, wrists, legs.

After building a few 500's that are 600 based, they are a bit larger than 1/6 scale and are actually 1:5.75. When a 1/6 scale pilot is placed in a 700 size 500, it looks lost. All you need to do is to have a look at my TOW Defender build thread and you will see how well a 1/6 scale pilot fits when a scale cockpit is built to spec. I have seen some heavy set US Army pilots that literally fill the complete seat area and look like they are going to fall out. The 500 is a very small helicopter and with my size, I would hate to be a rear seat passenger, lol. Take care.
