I heard a rumor that the 770 was being discontinued.

I didn't see any blades at my usual stops.

Maybe from some European distributors?

Given the photo and the story that it was a scrapping from a tip over, it seems-to-be only cosmetic as in only the gelcoat and that "to me" is repairable.

That said, a thorough inspection and especially looking for any dilamination or separation is a must. If you have any doubts and or inexperience in such, best to ask locally from someone that does or get new ones.

Bottom line as with flying helis, its all on you to assume the risk and decide if its worth it.

Best of luck!

I'll do both attempt a repair. And order some new blades. Ordered some 750mm zeal energy blades for $114. I've seen these blades all over helis on here, so they much not be total crap. I'll keep
You fellas posted. These blades are MUCH lighter and obviously 20mm shorter. So the 770
Might have a nice new spritly feel runnng them.

What's the flybarless you're running on the 770?

If it's not an ikon you might consider switching it out with another birds fbl.

If it is an ikon it could be your settings slowing you down. The ikon has a lot of settings that affect this... Each in their own way

In the advanced settings
Exponential negative values soften the response in the mid stick ranges. This can reduce twitchyness but excessive values make it feel unresponsive. This setting is under setup>input you need values for aileron elevator and rudder

Rotational speed this is a governer of how fast the heli will flip, spin, roll at full stick. This is limited by your mechanical set up and your heli's power. So if you were to set a tail rotation speed that your Heli could not reach, you will see inconsistent speed as it spins. This is under setup>cyclic rotational speed. There are values for aileron, elevator with in each of your 3 performance settings.
Tail is under tail...

Agility this one might be better thought of as fluidity. Higher settings will behave more like a fly barred heli. So transitioning out of a flip if your control inputs were snappy and robotic the heli would still transition fairly smoothly. Alternately, lower settings will make the Heli as snappy and robotic as your inputs (and it's capabilities).
These lower settings increase precision, but also mean that your stick inputs need to be more precise and fluid (where need be depending on the maneuver).

Correct me if I'm wrong

I know you will

It's s beastx.
Haven't been Thru any advanced settings yet.
I guess that'll be the next step. Curious to see how the bird reacts with the nEw blades before I change any settings tho just out of curiosity.
I've heard people call the 770 things like "docile" and "thundering elephant"
And I've yet to see a video of real serious smack 3D on one. (Well, at least compared to smaller
Models)
Which really isn't a big deal for me. It can stay the "gentile giant" as far as I'm conserned. I've got smaller birds for more aggressive stuff when I get to it.
All I know is I dang sure don't wanna crash this beast. Lol
Any advice on the beastx setting is welcome. It was set up before me, and I do know the older guy didn't do any aggressive 3D with it. So I'm sure the advanced settings will get me more response
