I have been given this JR Propo heli to restore.
It's got a OS 32 engine.
Can someone tell me what is its model number, years they are popular.
Thanks

ergo

Yes that is an Ergo 30 with some upgraded/ colored parts. Popular around 2000-2003. I had two or three. The 30 motor was a little underpowered for it, as it is a good size heli for a 30 motor.
Miss the Ergos actually. They could be upgraded to like a 46 or 50 back then. I think the motor shaft had to be cut off some, on the larger 46 and 50 engines. I am sure there are threads out there.
I had a 50 in one of mine.

Thanks for the info.
It is interesting to see and compare the progress of RC technology back from then and now.

Ergo 30 all the way. I have one that's been flying great for 19 years. It has mechanical mixing. One advantage to that versus electronic CCPM mixing is that if one servo were to fail, you still have a good chance to land with minimal damage. Whereas if a servo in a CCPM setup failed, the whole aircraft is going to crash no matter what.

Other than the our radios ability to mix the servos electronically and fly bar-less systems, not much else has really changed.
