Is anyone struggling for parts for ANY heli at the moment or is it just me in the UK?

Are they ordering less parts in because demand is lower now?

I think as we've been discussing, the hobby is shrinking. Everything seems a little more difficult to obtain.

Not just you! Even kits are harder to find now. Retailers are not helping the market. No products = no sales!

I've been having good luck with Thundertiger parts lately from the seller 'skyhobby2014' on ebay. I recently ordered a bunch of e700 parts and received everything in less than a week. They are in Taiwan I believe so I was very impressed with the shipping time.

You are right.
Many of us are struggling to find parts for almost any heli.
I have two JR machines and I am afraid to fly because parts are hard to find. It seems that JR no longer makes helis.

I can second that on sky hobby. Mini Titan parts in about a week for the same cost including the shipping as I would pay at home. How long for, who knows.

I don't think so.

Perhaps a sign of things to come. The best we can possibly do is to network. Example the hobby stores that I'may in touch with Build right fly right in Wallingford CT has parts for the Blade 130x, Thunder tiger nitro 30/50, Trex 450's
Also another store RC Hobbies & More in Winsted CT has parts for Trex 450, 550, 600, 700, Blade 300x, the cfx, & many other Blades.
So with that being said perhaps this can help & I have a Jr vibe 50, fury extreme so spread the word & if anyone needs the phone numbers let me know & I'll check back in a couple of days

I'm not sure what to buy in terms of 50 nitro next.

I've got a Titan x50 which is now almost impossible to get parts for.
I would just go to another brand be it Align or Synergy, but what's to guarantee they don't pack up 50 size nitro helicopters in the next year or so?

Due to the availability of Raptor 50 parts (Titan) I'm back to flying my old Titan 50 and leaving the X50 at home.
My concern is there are no newly made parts, just old stock and broken down airframes being sold as parts.

I know very little about the RC helicopter world. Looking to probably resell it if I pick it up. Comes with a new remote and new 90 engine.

In case you do resell it, how many of the few hundred dollars would you be asking for?

That is what I am unsure of. The original owner had several choppers. I bought one for 100 built with remote. It is nice but will be only a display at my house. They want to be rid of the kit that is still in box. I told them I would only be a buyer to resell and want to know if I offer 300 it will be worth my time to ebay the lot. I suspect the engine alone could go for close to entire investment but I don't know if the model kit is still desirable.

Trying to sell a glow 90 size heli in the current market is hard.
The top 90 glow helis currently available, like Synergy N7 and Gaui NX7 are about U$900 and they are hard to sell for any hobby shop.
If you are triyng to resell an Eagle 3 SWM kit you should expect to get about U$600.00 or less. So if you can get it for U$300.00 and then sell it for U$550.00 that would be great for you but overall it will be hard to sell.
The Eagle 3 is a great kit I think but parts can only be found in Japan and they are very expensive besides the shipping cost. That´s why people aoutside of Japan would only pay a fraction of its regular cost.

Eagle 3

Actually we support the Eagle and all HIROBOs in the USA and have sold those latest versions. Hirobo is definitely not for everyone as they are a premium priced heli in comparison to others available today, but you get what you pay for and there is a market, albeit a smaller one one than the mainstream at the moment. If you need help sourcing a sale of it let me know and I might be able to help. Post pics of the box. That will help.

Jeff

Still no problems, only solutions, governed by MARSHALL AMPLIFICATION. I'm a HIROBO Fan, R U?
