Hey Guys,

Bought a new AR6600T in an effort to shift over to DSMx. I noticed there is a GOV sensor port and I have an existing sensor in my 700N that was there from the Align Gov installed prior. Last I checked, the sensor was working.

Couple of questions. My radio is a DX-8 (2012 era)

How does one go about programming GOV functions in this receiver and setting it up? Instructions I have and could find do not really speak much to this.

With the old align GOV, when the north magnet would pass under the sensor, it would flash indicating that the sensor is reading. If I wanted to test the sensor, how would this work on this particular receiver?

There is no gov built into the AR6600T.

There is an RPM sensor port.

This receiver has telemetry - that is the T at the end (AR6600T)

It also has the same sensor inputs as the TM1000 (receiver fades, Frame loss, Holds, RPM, Temp, Ext Voltage and RX voltage) and includes a data buss for external devices (X-Bus) like Spektrum's GPS and barometric altitude.

Yes, you can hook you Align magnetic sensor to the RPM input on the AR6600T, but I don't think your old DX8 supports telemetry.

Believe 1/2 of what you see and none of what you hear.
Fake News will be the downfall of our Republic!
