It's amazing how the intellectually miniscule are so averse to progress, and also the tendency to rally behind criminal behaviour, and and an affirmative action worthy skill set . . . Very sad, indeed, and why the country has been heading for the crapper the last 8 years. Too many idiots that think 'if it feels good, it must be ok'and reject any and all accountability. Shows you what too many years on the bong (and beyond) can do to a brain . . .

Tdawson,

It is amazing how many people missed "seeing" President Obama's accomplishments, so here is a short list:

Rescued the country from the Great Recession, cutting the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7% over six years

Signed the Affordable Care Act which provided health insurance to over 20 million uninsured Americans---Don't care you like how he did it,,,he did it and Republicans are still trying to figure out how to do it.

Ordered for the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden

Passed the $787 billion America Recovery and Reinvestment Act to spur economic growth during the Great Recession

Supported the LGBT community’s fight for marriage equality

Saved the U.S. auto industry

Helped put the U.S. ontrack for energy independence by 2020

Signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals allowing as many as 5 million people living in the U.S. illegally to avoid deportation and receive work permits

Signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to re-regulate the financial sector--This was important as it protects the common working man from predatory lending practices

Dropped the veteran homeless rate by 50 percent

Began the process of normalizing relations with Cuba

So far President Trump:

Immigration executive-Appeals court issued permanent stay neutering this executive order. Most feel it was unconstitutional as written, and even the White House has announced they would probably try to rewrite instead of pursuing in court.

Executive Order Minimizing the Economic Burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

Expediting Environmental Reviews and Approvals for High-Priority Infrastructure Projects

Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States--Strips federal money from Sanctuary Cities

Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements--Initiated the process to examine a wall (which we will pay for, and you have no basic understanding of world economics if you think a "tariff" will make Mexico pay for it)

Now I am not sure how you calculate pulling us out of a great recession, saving the auto industry, or providing insurance to 20million, but my math comes out in Obama's favor.

Witch.duk: you are a smart individual...I've read your statements. But you do show your true colors on occasion, this being one of them.

What gets me is its seems that liberals WANT this Presidency to fail...which means in the long wrong they want the country to fail.

Thats the problem....and they are hell bent on making it happen.

Ever watch the WWII and WWI documentaries on the rise of socialism, communism and the Bolshevik rebellion?

I have and dont for one minute think it cant happen in this country. It can and I am afraid it will happen sooner then we think.

It will happen. The liberals, snowflakes and have-nots WANT it. When is the question.

And for what its worth Chas1025, I have NEVER BEEN A SARGE. I earned my rank...get right civilian.

You have a fine list of the Bumbler's failures and lies there . . . still waiting for something good.

But, take the misrepresentations, baked stats, and outright lies out of your list, and in actuality you get:

Lowest economic growth in years.
Record unemployment.
A health 'plan' that amounts to theft and f**ked most (and is so
bad, that it's failing while I type this . . ).
Destroying the US energy industry.
Perversion is now being cheerled.
Coddling a criminal/communist state.
Coddling parasites with no path to self sufficiency.
Emboldening criminals.
Murder rates soaring.
Overrun with illegals.
Created Isis.
Driving numerous companies/jobs offshore.
Numerous unconstitutional attempts to circumvent the Constitution.

About the only thing I can even call neutral is managing to not screwing up getting Bin Laden, and franky, the military did that - all the Bumbler had to do was avoid stepping on his own XXXX and let the military do what they know far more than 'ol Bumble boy about.

Obama: the poster child of XXXXXXX up . . . and were he not black, not a snowballs chance in hell the fool would have been elected . . .

Incompetence, however, is color blind. Obama would be a XXXXXX in any shade . . . I see the stupid and hated of the country in the man, not the color . . .

Insuring 20 million on someone elses dime is *THEFT*, not an accomplishment! Hlw about *employ* the 20 million and let them buy thier own damn insurance?

On,and he did't accomplish much in economic recovery (except in his tiny pea brain). Look at the raw, unbaked data . . . one of the lowest periods of growth in history, and Bumble boys jobs are crap - he drove off far more good ones than ne supposedly created.

And Trump? Well, the constitution does not apply to non citizens, and the authority to block entry for any reason is clearly in Federal law, so a fruitbat judge does not exceed that authority. The rewrite is to get us safe again while the Dimmietards play court games. I predict that if/when this goes to the supreme court (or any court than can get off the bong long enough to actually *read* the law) that it will be unanimously upheld . . . you know, just like when dimtard presidents did exactly the same thing in the past . . .

Defunding sanctuary cities is well overdue - what part of "It's a federal crime, stupid" don't you get? Frankly, the mayors and others involved should be prosecuted under existing Federal law as well.

Same with the wall and national security - should be #1 priority, as opposed to Bumble boys attempt to destroy it (security that is) . . .

As is infrastructure. Less money coddling parasites, more to support the country overall. A good thing!

Oh, and how many hundreds of thousands of *good* jobs are coming back that 'ol Bumble boy said was impossible? (I guess only impossible to those without the skills . . )

So, all in all, thanks for helping to make my point that the Bumbler was a XXXXXX!

Please argue with actual data from the bureau of labor statistics as I just want to see how this works.

https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

Just before you say it---the change in the labor curve is due to the Obama administration.

I am willing to bet that within 6 months we will start to see the unemployment rate start to go back up.

The jobs that middle America lost are not returning. The rustbelt will rust, and coal industry will continue to be in smaller demand. People just felt like they were left behind and a "preacher" knew what to say to them. Technology is here, and high paying blue collar jobs in manufacturing and coal are gone.

By the way, I am sorry your world is so bad. In the world I live in things are pretty good.

I suppose the unemployment rate has been adjusted right after it was first created, so it is hard to really get a real number.

But there are real numbers that can be looked at that include millions using SS disability, increased welfare families, and increased incarcerated Americans. These people are NOT counted in the unemployment numbers.
In the past three decades, the number of Americans who are on disability has skyrocketed.

Every month, 14 million people now get a disability check from the government.

http://apps.npr.org/unfit-for-work/
Under Obama welfare dependency increased by about10 million people from about 33 million to about 44 million people.

https://www.fns.usda.gov/sites/defa...SNAPsummary.pdf

Unemployment numbers change for a variety of reasons (including the way the government counts), but numbers like welfare, disability, and prisoners are easier to track...and those increases make the unemployment numbers appear to decrease.

"I suppose the unemployment rate has been adjusted right after it was first created, so it is hard to really get a real number."

What does this statement even mean. Is this an, I'm going to ignore actual facts with an obtuse statement situation?

This is the real number whether you like it or not. Unemployment has dropped during Obama.

Now lets also look at some factual data concerning the FNS data that you copied. The greatest surge of FNS participants came during the "Great Recession". This makes sense, more people were in need of assistance and that is what we do-we take care of our own.

If you start looking at the FNS numbers beginning in 2013, the numbers have continued to drop each year. 2014 was lower than 2013, 2015 was lower than 2014, and 2016 was lower than 2015. That seems to coincide (in a math sort of way) with the lower unemployment numbers shown in the statistical information I submitted.

On additional figure that will keep the FNS numbers on the high mark are that beginning in 2011, the baby boomer generation began hitting 65 years old. Many of these people need assistance which will come from FNS. Do you not think the baby boomer generation deserves to have assistance so than can survive?

I believe no one should go hungry, I support the SNAP program and what it does for people.

How we treat those in need and the lesser of us, speaks to who we are as a people.

The government "changes" the way it calculates unemployment from time to time. If different factors are used in different years, it is difficult to really know for sure.
This is the real number whether you like it or not. Unemployment has dropped during Obama.
I agree it is a real number...but so is 5 and 636 and 14, but that doesn't mean they are correct numbers.

As far as unemployment dropping, moving people to disability rolls and condemning them to welfare instead meaningful employment which encourages crime is nothing to hang his hat on.
I believe no one should go hungry, I support the SNAP program and what it does for people.

Good idea...take away their pride and send them to generational poverty...I prefer jobs instead of crumbs for the poor.

@dilbertstein Thanks for more info, and you hit the nail right on the head. It's documented fact that Bumble boy chose to ignore those that have been out of work so long that they gave up looking, considering them 'magically no longer unemployed' (classic liberal logic, btw) thus claiming gain when the reality was dismal failure. As I said, look at the raw data - not what the dimmies have baked it into. No job and of employable age equals unemployed, period!

Check this out:
SNAP fraud is when SNAP benefits are exchanged for cash. This is called trafficking and it is against the law.

https://www.fns.usda.gov/fraud/what-snap-fraud
You would be correct if you added the word "legally."

So, people do figure out a way around the system.
