It appears helifreak have moved Hirobo to the Antique out of production section in what I would describe as a completely brainless and ill conceived move.

As a side note is it just me or does anyone else find HF a particularly un friendly one. I often find people a bit more aggressive or defensive, and that's if they bother to respond at all?

Excellent work tommytt1

We really need to support brands like Hirobo as they are one of the manufacturers who have helped for many years to make this hobby as good as it is.

My first helicopter was a shuttle, that my brother still has. Still flys like it was new, and has been rebuilt many times from many crashes.

Even on here there is often someone saying Hirobo is out of business. To many of the latest and greatest mindset.

My Freya OPII SSZ-IV is the best helicopter I have bought in several years, possibly ever.

My Turbulence D3v2 is superb.

I do miss my Sceadu Evo.

I also enjoy the choice of canopy decals as I am not a fan of the airbrush colour schemes available on most brands. It is great to be able to easily change the colour scheme when ever we feel the need for change.

I would love an SDX as they're a nice heli. I also actually prefer the Hirobo carbon filled plastic frames.great value for money, maintainability and great flight performance. I firmy believe the plastic frames dissipate vibrations far more effectively than G10 or carbon.

Paul,

There is no doubt that the plastic helps make for a smooth flying Helicopter. I have other stacked framed stuff too, but they don't call them Plastic Fantastic for nothing.

One of the first helis I bought getting back into the hobby a little over a year ago was a brand new Shuttle Plus. I will never sell it. The LHS put it together for a guy who backed out when they hovered it for him in the parking lot.
It was only $225 built and ready to fly. It also came with a DX6i. I now have many more helis now but it's still one of my special favorites.

BTW it used to be HF 100% .. I'm working on reducing that to 0%. Many know why.

I wouldn't worry about it Payne. If you don't crash every once in awhile, your not flying RC Helicopters. Kinda slaps you in the face and wakes you up.
