As a lifelong card carrying Republican, I say, Donald don't over play your hand. There are a lot of people ready to pull the plug come 2018 if you do not rule fairly and listen to the voters.

You cannot spring every far right wing nut job on us. You are in a more precarious situation than you imagine. Those 2.9 million votes are real.

Just treat everyone fairly. This country is split down the middle and we need everyone's opinion respected.

I am looking for results regarding the economy. The RC helicopter hobby is in decline because of it. Who is not getting treated fair?

While Democrats and Republicans beat each others brains out, eight men control half of the worlds wealth. Is that fair?

Voters dumped the democrat leaders on the dump heap, do you think that they won't again in 2 or 4 years. No matter what Obama did, make things right for all.

I know, red colored glasses, but I am watching 3D movies.

Income redistribution is NOT fair leading to all kinds of unintended consequences. Your statement about eight men is misleading. There are a lot of highly populated poor nations out there.

What is (un)fair about that? What is holding you back?

Do I like it that I am not one of the eight? NO! Am I jealous of them? Yes/No. I am not a risk taker and that is the reason I am an employee and not a business owner. I am limited by how many hours there are in a day as to how much I can make. Business owners are not! You will never get wealthy working for someone else.

There is a difference between rich and wealthy. Here is the difference. Sports figures are rich, owners are wealthy

Yeah that quote is rather misleading... so to get the whole thing;

http://www.economist.com/news/finan...en-wealthy-half

Ever hear of the word monopoly. If there was a single airline, they could charge what ever price they wanted. You pay.

Ever seen what big pharm is doing? They don't care what it cost to develop and make or how long the product has been out of patent.

I have been in business for myself for over 20 years. I know how business works and it is not a level playing field.

I am saying that if Trump over does it, he will not be reelected in four years, and the majority congress may change in two years. understand? Could it be any more clear?

To expand on Mark's point.

If we were to confiscate 30 Billion from 8 guys, and gave it to 3 billion poor folks who live hand to mouth, they get 10 whole bucks! ( minus administrative and mailing fees make that 2.50$).

Redistribution's only actual value is as political tool. Other than that it is completely worthless.

Want solutions? Great. I highly recommend seeing Poverty Incorporated on Net flix. It very clearly shows the unintended consequences of our well intentioned efforts, and offers actual solutions.

Way too many examples of the worlds wealthiest that started with modest means so the argument of being stifled doesn't always hold true.

IF we were to do that, those 8 guys would be wealthy again in a short period of time and those 3 billion poor folks wouldn't have 2 dimes to rub together in a year.

For the most part there is a reason the poor are poor and the wealth are wealthy.

The great thing about this country is there are very few inhibits from making money. AND after DT is done there will be fewer.

I worked on a pharma project a while ago. it was an improovement for a electro surgical procedure. Our smallish company brought in just under 10 million in top line at the time, maybe a half mill in profit each year, there was no way we could raise the many millions ( estimates i heard were in the 30 million range just to get thru the first pass with the FDA ) We managed to partner with one of the big players who helped fund further tests and had the money to be able to go to FDA and beyond. After a few years of work they opted out. Cost for FDA was too high, insurance against gigantic lawsuits.... It is fine if you want to point fingers, just keep in mind, to do it corectly you will need several fingers.

the thing about those 8 guys (and many others like them) IS that, what they have is not enough, they want more money, and more money, and more and more, and THAT IS what get's to me, how greedy can some one be,

Oh yes, Bill Gates (and others) have given out many millions even billions to charity, but it did nothing for the economy, something for the economy needs to be done

see more greediness in my link

Seriously? Do you think Microsoft did anything for the economy? Bill and Paul Allen founded this company which grew into an economy boosting empire just from the products it created. IMO, it's OK to selfishly reap the reward and keep all the dough to do whatever with. The toys and homes these folks purchase have an economic impact on their own.

Are you serious??? You sound more like Democrat. A divided country is exactly what the dems want. A weakened country. Trump is trying to make us strong again. I personally don't think he can, as too much damage has been done. I do believe he will do his best, and come what may. Of course there are many Rinos in GOP, that would love to cause him to fail.

Did you ever read anything from Carl Marx, and his recipe for taking over a country? I believe we are living that nightmare now.

Be Careful Donald

The way I see it, The Donald got elected because? Because of what he promised during his campaign, and people believed in him. He appears to be keeping ALL of his promises, but it will be tough to accomplish some it, because there are too many idiots trying to foil his efforts, and will do everything humanly possible to stop him. Personally, I hope and pray he will be successful.

And those are the people that want things to stay status quo. Because??? They're enriching themselves off the system as it is.
