Hi Stan, that looks really good.
I use to fly one with Paul Major in the evening at our field. We would fly in formation with his Tiger Moth and my Rebel. Those were good times back then. No 3D just fun.
I had a 50 Webra in mine.
Good luck with yours.

Sure Has!!!

There was no computer required back then..
This was advertised that you could use an airplane engine, an airplane radio, and no gyro needed!! And that is how I learned to fly.., that dam heli chased me around the back yard for quite awhile, but eventually I got the hang of it and was actually able to move it into some forward flight...

Congrats on the find Stan .... I know that feeling of grinning from ear to ear when you still see your first heli ... I have my first , a DuBro 505 hanging in my shop and I always grin but not for that same reason , as I never got it to fly worth a darn !So it is not remembering the good times (although it was still fun learning ) ...but to the fact I stuck it out for a total of about 4 yrs thru 1 more heli that also didn't fly (Len Sabatos jet ranger )and finally beat them by getting one to finally fly , a DuBro Hughes 300 ,which I have one in storage waiting for a retirement restore
Good luck on your project if you decide to free up the motor and fly her

I was really into restoring and getting the Classic Helis flying again back then but unfortunately we lost our field in 2012 and all of the 35+ members went on to other Hobbies.
