Is it important to keep VTX away from an ESC? What would be the minimum distance?

Due to limited space and not wanting the ESCs out on the arms, I crammed everything inside. Works just fine.

Hmm. I have the Align MR25X and the VTX sits about 5mm away from both rear ESC's! I'm getting horizontal lines when the motors are spooled up, it's flyable, just annoying.

I'm not familiar the Align product, but it looks to have an integrated board for everything! That makes a tidy unit, but unfortunately, you can't move things around.

A couple things to try, if you can:

Cloverleaf antennas on VTX and RTX. Make sure both are either LHCP or RHCP.

An LC filter between power from the board and the VTX. This is just made from a capacitor and an inductor.

Thanks for that. It sounds like the LC filter is what I need.
