Some of you may remember my old website a few years ago. We lost the server space it was hosted on, but of course we kept backups of all the material. Every once in awhile, someone needs a manual or other tech info for the various GMP models, and we have some room on another server, so we copied it all over for the use of the vintage community.

We have coverage for the Cricket, Hughes 300, Rebel, Hind Drone, Competitor, Cobra, Legend, and even the Viper.

Here is where we have it all online now.

Edit: now hosted on VRHC

Website

Hey Marc,

Great to see the website up. I missed it. Also, I found on Youtube an excerpt from the All Night Long movie that shows the original Cricket flight scene in its entirety. It would be cool if you could add that to the website !

Thanks fellas! My pleasure and glad to help make sure this info remains available and open sourced!

Steve, send me the link to the video. Definitely interested to check that out.

I just finished fixing up a few broken links that did not work because they pointed directly to the old server. All the links that I ran through (other than YouTube, Wikipedia, etc.) now just point to the file needed and not a particular URL….the idea being that this can all be portable, so someone could copy the entire thing, and it will all work as an independent copy on another web server or even on someone’s PC, phone, or tablet.

Would y’all mind running through the site and PM’ing me if you find a bad or broken link?

Here is a little something from the archives that I forgot I even had. May be of interest for all you Cricket fans out there!

Cheers

Marc

GMP Website Update

Klaus has donated server space to host all the GMP materials as a permanent subdirectory to the huge VRHC Vintage Heli website:

http://www.vrhc.co.uk/RC%20Helicopt...P/gmp/index.htm

This makes a lot more sense I think than just having the GMP website all alone by itself out there in cyberspace under temporary arrangements, and it builds up the VRHC site nicely as a centralized repository for all vintage heli information on the web.

Thanks Klaus!

Yes, more GMP drawings are on their way. I have to get the originals scanned at a blueprint place because they are much too big for my scanner. Will also make sure all the manuals and bulletins I have are already online, plus I am working to finish up another Hirobo Falcon project thats not well covered, so we will do a photo shoot with that when its done. Planning to get an update to Klaus hopefully in a few weeks.
