Do you use the helis you fly as target practice? or are you making "shipments"? LoL Just wondering the need for the firearm within arms reach of the Tx...

My son is in the Navy and loves to play soft air tournaments when he gets a chance. That's a soft air gun I always get pissed when he doesn't put them in the gun safe out of habit. I had it there as a reminder to yell at him when I get a hold of him. How do you yell at a grown man that's in the Navy but any gun whether it be a bb gun, a soft air, or an uzi goes in a safe at my place.

If he is in the Navy, I am sure it won't be the first time it has happened.

It's too bad this site or the hobby in general is getting decimated. There are imo a few advocates for the sport but the rest are a bunch of what I call it's all about me.I'm a firm believer in Karma and when I got into the sport years ago it was evident to me that the sport would not survive or would dwindle. There are a few individuals no matter what their name or status will help or answer questions. People like Carey, Raja, dkshema. I apologize if I missed your name because I truly do appreciate anyone taking the time out of their day to help an individual. Either the advice you receive is from a rep or just plain incorrect. Maybe it wouldn't hurt if a known pilot or 'pro' answer some threads. There arent that many conversations between the two major forums where a pro could join in. There are guys like JZ as an example that do answer questions. I'm at a point now where I don't need much help but imo the celebs should step up for the sport not because all of a sudden their wallets are skinier than they used to be.I have been to three fun flies just too be confused as to what to do. I also attempted to join two local clubs where each of them din't like the idea of outsiders. Lastly why post builds of machines that only a few 'friends' can get? All this does for me is make me say 'what a bunch of jerks'. This is not a personal attack on anyone just a general observation of a guy that flies alone due to club alienation.

Looks like a good TX glove Andy. Is that an electronic heater I see in it? I use a TX glove with disposable hunting hand warmers just loosely tossed inside.

Sorry for the late reply...

I try to keep current on the site but I've learned over the years if you don't know the right people it's impossible to get what you want. I've been looking at the smaller goblin gasser for over a year now or its been two years now and see people flying them as an example but do I have to stand on my head to get one. IMO this sport is dying due to the fact that the pros and people with access to knowledge or gear don't share. I'm only aware of two major forums and as a pro you can't get involved with any discussions? That's bull. We all know the awesome pros and gear heads that do share but imo it's the others that don't push me from the hobby. I'm a believer of karma and the people that should be keeping this sport alive only care about themselves and their buddies and the sport will die with a community of leaders like the ones the sport has now.

Anyway sorry for the rant. I placed a small electric heater that I power using a lipo and it works surprisingly well. I have to try your idea. I saw mention of some type of usb gloves that are supposed to work as well.
