I made my own a couple of years ago. It was posted how to do it. I have used it with the 8 as well as the 14SG. I'll see if I can find the link.

Sorry, work has had me flat out with travelling (the start of the busy time of year for me).

The video you posted is very similar and with a quick look should be fine.

Mine is just a little nicer finish but I am sure with care, that can work.

I will try to take a picture of it later today

Again sorry for the delay in replying

I'm not criticizing. I'm wondering what the advantage to doing this might be? I used a Hitec Spectra synthesized module in Futaba 9CAP and 10CHP transmitters for years. That was a cost issue. The Spectra module was $99 when the Futaba module was more like $200. Same situation here?

Sorry guys. I just realized this is in the classifieds section. I apologize. I was curious about the conversation and forgot where I was.

In my particular case, a member of my club was using a Futaba 14SG for flying their helicopters. Because they are learning, even a slightly different feel from the transmitter makes a big difference.

During the indoor season, the best helicopters for indoor for them were Blade helis. So that they could stay in tune with what they were using for the outdoor season, I built one of these modules to use with their Futaba.

That way during the winter months, flying indoors, they could take advantage of flying the Blade helis and still use the same transmitter they use during the outdoor season

As a side note, even have buddy boxed with them indoors using the Wireless buddy box setup linked to my DX9
