The 700L TOP gets the MX850 as well together with a CC 160 amp ESC. The other differences I can live with for the $350 difference. What it really boils down to is the rotorhead, the DFC in the 700L TOP vs the EFL (non DFC) in the 700X.
When the 700L TOP was first released with DFC, it was considered as Align's flagship model. Then after two years, Align returns to non DFC EFL. Was there something wrong with the DFC? I have a two Dominator 500L with EFL (one is Microbeast, the other GPro) that I thoroughly enjoy flying but I consider to be a little small for my eyes. I bought a Dominator 550L DFL Super Combo and Microbeast Plus. It's built now but missing a ball link on the inner swash so I haven't flown it yet. So I can't comment about DFC because I haven't flown one yet.
Now I've decided to go get a 700 size (the heli bug bites hard) and have actually decided on a $1,315 700L Dominator TOP Microbeast PLUS Super Combo. Then I realized this. So I'm hoping to get some advise from those of you who have experience on Align DFC vs EFL. Thanks!
