Anyone have an iKon micro in their Blade 180cfx? I just installed one but my tail is going crazy. I cannot use any gyro gain greater than +10 on my DX9 or the tail wags something terrible. Nothing changed from before the install. Maybe excess vibration? Have one layer of the 3M red under the iKon. Help please.

May be that 10 is correct.
More small are the heli more little the tail gain must set.
In fact, you can see that in the instructions of microBrain, that is used on small heli, the starting point suggested for tail gain at page 5 of the wizard is 20 instead of the 45 suggested for the bigger Brain unit used on bigger heli
Also, more high is the mechanical gain (like in CFX180) more little must be the tail gain.
So, 10 can be correct.
But I also have heard about mechanical tail problem on some CFX180 where the tail case move on the tail boom and consequently is needed a lower gain due to the tail case oscillation / vibration / movements. Have you checked our tail case is correctly fixed on the tail boom?

Thank you Rik. I hadn't noticed that in the instructions. Still feeling my way as I upgrade my entire fleet to iKon/Brain. Was making me crazy before your explaination.
