Regarding the plug-n-play heads with built in phasing: After checking the phasing on my last 4 blade head (with J arms) I still had to make a 2-4 degree phasing adjustment in the Vbar to dial the set up in spot on. The J arms get you close and they usually fly just fine, but a little phasing tweak to get it all squared up and dialed in, is not a bad idea. I have since quit using plug-n-play heads and prefer to go direct links and dial the phasing in the FBL unit.

Some like the demon require trim changes to be made in the unit instead of the trims on the radio
"Real Time tuning" allows you to assign any parameter to a knob or slider on your radio. Try it, I think you will like it

Marc, I have that with gain adjustments, do you mean that or do you mean using the trims too?

For clarification, you can't use RTT to trim but, you can use the same channel to adjust other parameters like, (P gain, elevator filter, delay and revo mix) that you are currently using to adjust your head /tail gains. You can assign them individually in Real-Time tuning. Trimming is still done in the demon software

The new Axon will have blue tooth but does not have it yet. The Axon also does not have twin rotor function yet as well but I was told it will.

For the record, my FBL controller is the Spektrum AR7200BX. I was looking in the manual and I don't see any trim adjustments available? It also states do not use trim adjustments in the transmitter.

The "trim" in the AR 7200BX is in one of the function menus...check your manual. Scroll to that function ( I believe it is in parameters?) and then it allows you to trim each servo... not in flight though.

Change...

Parameter "B" to a solid Blue light
(flashing red is default for Sport setting)
transfers all trims, dual rate and expo to transmitter.

So if I change parameter B off of sport, I can safely trim the individual servo needed to correct the drift I am having using my transmitter? Also will the gyro try to overcome this?

Yes, changing parameter B to solid blue lets you adjust TRIM, DUAL RATE and EXPO from your radio. Just like we do (did) with flybar helis.

You should also have zero subtrim on radio.

The gyros will continue working normally. Its practically like dialing down the gains for each axis. You wont feel it fighting you, sort of speaking.

This sounds like it's what will correct my issue. I will definitely give it a try and report back with the results.
