Hello,
I'm thinking of making up a FBL head out of parts.
My question is can you use, in any way the plastic grips PV 0663-1 ( possibly with modification) in a FBL head?

I can still get hold of the recommended aluminium grips, but they are a bit pricey.

Regards

Hi Gemheli- yes they can be used. If you look in my gallery, there's a pict of both a 50 Titan & an X-50 both with the plastic grips. HOWEVER - I did eventually swap them both to aluminum, as the plastic will start to 'egg-out' around the bearings & get a little loose.. Did fly quite a while tho'..
