I didn't see the Sikorsky X2 in there.

Also, the last clip in the second video talks about the Eurocopter X3 but that's not the one shown.

Keep in mind that Airwolf is Mach 1 only when in Whisper mode.

This is a very important distinction not lost on serious modelers and professional precision BS articulaters.

the only reason It could achieve Mach 1 was cause it had a turboencabulator.

I dont know... but based on my personal experience... the fastest heli is one that has no blade rotation falling toward the ground.... so fast it makes a crater and can be felt on the ground. I've funded and proven this theory many times. the effect on my bank account was near instant too

I believe the record is 165 mph at the moment. Considering that the Chinook is the fastest helicopter, I wonder if a tandem speed version would be faster.

Eurocopter X3 topes the list of fastest helicopters in the world. X3 achieved 255 knots (472 km/h; 293 mph) in level flight over France on 7 June 2013, setting an unofficial speed record for a helicopter. XGM/VGM

The Lynx holds the official record for a pure helicopter. The X3 is a compound helicopter.

The KA-52 is cool, but where is it's record?
