Yeah we like a bit of metal around the workshop.
Late nights we get a bit of thrash metal too.

thrash can be fun, I have a few friends that play guitar (metal) and I did play a little, years ago, southern rock I love and classic metal too, thrash seems to be fun but I am rather picking about it

They poured the concrete
They ran out at the end of the drive apron
They called for more
They sat and waited till it dried
They called back the supplier who said yeah its on its way, Monday, its now Friday
So next week they come back cut up the part they screwed up.
And grind the tripping step off the edge with an angle grinder.
Quality Job.

Awesome videos.

I don't think I'm going to post a video showing my machine skills now.

Glad you like the vids.

Should upload your machining videos.
Everyone has their own way with machining, I only started to learn how to do it when I started the business.
Not used a milling drill before that and not much on the lathe.

Next 2 vids covers some RC servo stuff.
Broaching the splines in the MX pulleys and re-greasing.

Funny you mention that.

I'm just looking out the side door of the garage at the JR60 (old helicam, see my posts in Aerial Photo forum here from way back) and JR30 sitting out there.

30 has 45 I think and the 60 has an OS 61, alum tail, CF rotors,
All going to the tip in a few days.

Not flown them in years and taking up a lot of room I now need.
Getting rid of the FPV foamie too, was fun but, times have changed and if I get a Heli it'll be Electric.
Cant see myself ever owning a Drone (yawn)

By the time I get all the work done I have it'll be nearing winter anyway and Ill be looking at new boots and maybe skis too so probably wont have enough to start a project for myself.

I've got a bit of a hankering to go do a bit of Sprint Kart racing too so that might take up some hobby time.
