T-REX 450 › what scale ?

with the trex 450 pro and the hughes 500 series fuse, what scale would that be in. it would help to know for documentation purposes. any input ???

No idea.

But, take some key measurements for the Hughes 500 fuse and translate that to the full size.

The rotor diameter of the Trex 450 is about 675mm (I am guessing)
The rotor diameter of the Hughes 500 is 8030mm
Scale Factor = 8030 / 675
I would guess the 450 is about a 8% scale model of the full scale.
100% / 11.89 = 8.4

(EG: If the main rotor diameter of the model is 2000mm, that gives you a SF=4.0:1. The model would be 25% scale model)

But, that is rotor diameter.
Measure the length of the fuse's tailboom or the overall length (tip of the nose to the end of the tail) and that gives you the scale factor of the fuse (which may be different from the 450's rotor)
