Thanks to some cheap parts from Ron Lund going out of business I've been flying this thing quite a bit lately. Then I found a second one for $40 on Craigslist here locally. These things fly great other than the shakes once in awhile, no real 3D but I can flip it upside down and practice all orientations. I did put a small rubber band around the links between the servos and swash plate which seems to help cut down on the shakes a lot. Not completely but almost.

I'm sure the new cps is a better heli and for $99 it's hard to justify spending any money on the old Mcpx but I'm having fun with these guys again.

I just pulled mine off the shelf after at least two years and immediately fell in love all over again! Hopefully we can find enough parts to keep them going for a looooong time.

Looks like I'll be able to get parts again if I need to with the new mCP S coming out. I wonder if I should try upgrading to the new flight control board? I also heard them say a brushless conversion available. I think they had that before didn't they? I'll probably try one of the new batteries though. I think they said it has a higher C rating and 210 mAh.
