We ran one for a couple years on our asphalt super latemodel. My dad liked it because of its simplicity. It for sure was different than your standard run of the mill Holly 4150. Only reason we stopped using them was they were deemed illegal because there is nothing that you can really tech on it. Its just a giant rectangular hole with barn doors...LOL! I see several of the predator 6000 carbs for sale on flea bay. I believe predator went out of business a few years ago, not entirely sure to the exact date. If I could find one that was converted for alcohol use, i would run one on my U.M.P. modified for grins.

I asked the guy and he knows absolutely nothing about predators,I would say it is the pxi,or pxp.I doubt it is for alcohol. He got it in a trade with an engine.Probably wants fiddle around with a holly.

When I was bracket racing with my dad in high school I always wanted one for my car but could never afford one...(I was on a shoestring budget as I was self funded....which meant I was refurbishing worn out stuff from fellow racers that upgraded and I bought tires and fuel...)

THat said then I learned how to make holly's go fast for cheap....got semi-set in my ways....then went with blowers when the budget increased and never looked back...

I still wouldn't mind getting one to tinker with just because...

Ask your Doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.
