Hello. When I turn on the fuel pump trying to purge the kero line the pump runs but deadheads against a closed fuel shut off valve. I guess I really don't know the purpose of this valve except it is a positive shut off of the fuel. The valve is working as it tests fine when plugged into the propane port. It is like the the ECU fuel port is dead. Or maybe I am incorrectly trying to purge the line. This is very possible as I am working off my old memory and without directions. What conditions are required to open the fuel kerosene valve? Maybe something with an EGT input is required that would mean my purging procedure is not correct. Any thoughts or help are very welcome. Thanks, Dave George AMA 5129 Rw2500

The fuel valve would need some sort of input from the ECU.

1) The turbine start sequence has been initiated and running.
2) On my Jakadofsky units I have to go in and tell the ECU that I'm going to do a fuel purge and when that process happens the ECU will open up the fuel valve in association with turning the pump on for the purge process.

I would look for that sort of operation.
