Anyone have any experience with this heli? I've searched and can't find much real info on it. I know it's a cheap Chinese knock off, but the small nitro sold me. I ordered one and it will be here Monday, and will document the build if anyone is interested.

a quick over view ,
I believe the complaints were ,
lack of spares, and I think engine is "finiky"

theres a video that shows kinda mild mild big air type 3d ish stuff its doing,

nothing crazy of course ,
I thought of getting it , just buzz around and do cheap orientation practice ,

but from my past troubles in nitro , i learned not to go cheap on the motor, (theres enough added fun in nitro as is, let alone a %75 unreliable engine)

engine aside , I think spares are the hard part,

if you happen to come across a good place to get parts from in the usa , let me know , buddy rc carries like a main gear , or at least last time I checked a while back, that's how it was

I was hoping there would be some compatibility with Trex, I'll compare the 2 when it arrives.

As far as engines go, I will give it a shot, if it doesn't work well there are plenty of .18 engines on the market, I'm sure I can get one to work.

lastnight I was doing some digging,

seems a few years now and there seems to be loads more videos of this thing, I watched a few with o.s engines in them ,

I still kinda want one,, parts are a problem ,
but... ill see if I can dig it up and ,I think one of the trex 450 models has parts that fit it, ?
I'm not %100 on that as I was reading pretty late lastnight, but will see if I can find that topic again ,

I have a Trex 450 and a Trex 450xl I can compare it too. I picked the kit up from a us seller so if I like it, I can pick up another kit for spares.

I want to say the trex main gear worked , and tarot head worked,,
but I see no reason for a new head or gear unless needed from a crash.
meaning I wouldn't go dumping unneeded money for parts that are just fine to begin with,(fingerscrossed)

but none the less ,
hopefully you will come back saying at least %50 of one of youre rex's are compatible with this bird....

maybe that nx4 might have something to offer this heli as well?

Kit came today and did a quick comparison.

Compared to Trex 450L Dominator.

Head and main shaft identical
Skids identical
Frames not even close
Boom is longer than Trex, but could be converted. It's belt drive
Main blades slightly shorter, but with a longer boom
Swash Identical
Links Identical
Frame spacing looks to be the same, but not sure about bolt patterns yet.
Tail looks to be identical, but I can't confirm that yet.
Gearing isn't even close.
Directions suck, basically a blown apart 1 page view. Going to take ages to assemble.

Here is my video of my Gleagle 480N.

Motor is not finicky at all, I run mine on 30% PowerMaster and starts and runs like a champ.

100 Flat line throttle curve. And just tune the motor. Mine goes through dampers pretty quick when beating on it. And this is with the Stock Transmitter and Kbar FBL Unit.

I am pretty impressed with this little heli. Its by no means crazy power but we have been toying the idea of putting a 15 size motor in it. for more power.

Most important A LOT of the Align parts will fit this model. I think all except Frames.
