Same thing

Pull starter. They start very easy, within 3 pulls when cold usually and 1 pull when hot.

tried an Align starter... wont turn my modded g20...

stay away from the hobbico 90... it dont got the brass to turn anything bigger than a garden variety 15cc... the 180 is marginal for a 20cc and will not turn a 30cc.

others state that the Dynatron is the best out there for a starter... and has no issues when paired up with the proper pack.

I use a pull start exclusively now... just less crap to tow.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

If your starter doesn't have enough power you might be able to get it to work if you hit the start button after you get the engine just past top dead center that way your not fighting the compression stroke right away and giving your starter a chance to get it spinning. Might work for some of the smaller electric starters. I always do this when pull staring because it is easier on the starter coggs and my arm.

I use a Hobbico 180 with a 4s lipo. Starts my Radikal 30's G260 with no problem.

I use a Hobbico 180 with a 4S 2300 lipo. It easily starts gas engines from 231 to 300.

I found that the most important part to starting big engines was the battery used. They must be able to deliver the high amperage required. Most gell sells are not capable of doing so.

I only use a pull start system if I have no choice for some reason. Just not a big fan of side loading the chassis especially with new 300 class engines. Mostly a personal preference though.

A dynatron or a hobbico 180 will pretty much start anything. Personally I use an adapter from A Finer Edge manufacturing that adapts a Makita 18V battery pack easily to either of these starters

I got a alternator on mying, so a pull start is pretty well the only option, unless you run it off the main gear, but it is very easy to start.

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!
