Nitro seems to have been fading for the last few years in general, but proponents of it remain extremely enthusiastic.

The Trex 600N continues to be a very good flying machine, and many people are still flying them.

I have a Goblin 380 and a Trex 700 nitro
I also have two Trex 600 - nitro and electric.

I like the 600 because it is bigger than the 380, but does not consume as much fuel as the700 nitro

The 600 electric also uses smaller (cheaper) batteries than a 700E.

It is not a bad size if you don't want to deal with 700 helis but want the same feel.

600 - 700

I had two 600 Electrics and one 700 Electric and enjoyed them all. The 700 felt a lot more responsive and powerful. Maybe that is because the Trex 700 in 12 cell and the 600s are 6 cell. I have lots of parts for both and I am Hang Gliding more now so selling the parts.

I have two. Both are Dominators. Building one into a three blade main and tail. I just love the power of this setup.

I built a trex550 with a 600 belt tail that I ran 12s with a way oversized motor that I was really enjoying until I stuffed it backwards and inverted

We made up some rules can we have your moneys now.

I have the latest version of both the nitro and the electric. The nitro is overall just a rock solid machine. Just make sure to get the metal clutch housing. The 600L is very fun to fly as it is incredibly powerful and fast but the problem is that the motor is too powerful for the tail umbrella gear. You either have to replace them often or risk stripping them mid flight. If you do not fly very aggressively it probably won't be a problem.
