if you full have control:
- you can fly a 600 or 700 in 50' x 50' box easily

if you have not enough control:
- you can't fly a 450' in a 50' x 50' box with ease

What do you value more:
- convenience over practicality?
- size or power?

Our expectation has to be reasonable.
- Logic dictates a small part of our mind vs the larger part that's emotional

Some might not agree with this until they are fed up with their current situation. Are you able to stretch your vision further down the road to see the outcome? This is a pattern I have noticed
- mcpx owners weren't tempted with 130X's
- 130X owners weren't tempted with 180X's
- 450 owners weren't as tempted with other smaller heli once they flew 550's & bigger
- struggled with micros until it cost more time & money, than it's not fun anymore

Actions are based on decisions.
- How well has your decision worked for you?
- What information you using to make that choice?
- There is a reason why sometimes the wants does not meet your needs.

BTW
You can do almost all of the maneuvers if you "finesse the controls"

Maybe you don't need a bigger heli, just practice more on CONTROL
- small inputs
- collective management
- have someone experienced go over your setup good for learning

* try that first, nothing to buy or loose sir

I have both a Blade 180 and a 230s. Both fly well, but I'll fly the 230s before the 180 all the time.

Ok... I mainly fly 700's, however, as I get older the cold weather (winter) doesn't agree with me anymore, so I've moved inside. I use the gym at our church and though it's a bit small (a full size basketball court), it works. I fly the mCPx mainly as it is a nice fit and the fact this little bugger can take a beating!

I have a Blade 180 (piece of junk for me), but have nothing but problems with it. It too is a good size for the gym. I also have a couple of Blade 130's and they work well, but they too have their problems from time to time.

I've used my OXY3 in the gym, and it's too big for such a in closed area! I've reduced the head speed which helped a lot in maintaining better control, but it can get away from you fast!

I'm waiting for the OXY2 to come out, thinking this will be a better fit for me. We shall see!

When the weather outside is decent, I venture out for the day. Flying indoors helps with control and collective management...and learning to fly with less power and my larger 700's!

I think that you guys are leaving out the trex 150. If you want small and powerful the 150 is it. Insane little heli. Power out the wazoo...never mind trying to keep it under control, when it hits something it stops.
