I'm tired of small helis with very little power , bogging in tick tocks or punch outs , tail holding issues ,like Nano cps , blade 130 , any advice I love the small helis it allows me to fly at home . But crashing cause of insafisiant power or tail issues is getting old thanks in advance ... Oh and I understand throttle control but I don't want to have to baby it

I am unstable and have no safe mode

+1 on the 180

After all the time and $$ I wasted on the 130x..I was very reluctant to get another Horizon micro; but the 180 really rocks and is not bad to work on either!

I do a great decending funnel!

I don't have one but judging by the videos and reviews the Blade 180CFX sounds like the best heli for you.

There is also the Lynx Oxy 3 with 250-285mm blades but that might be a bit too powerful for small spaces!

Blade also do the 270CFX and recently the 250CFX but that has a motor driven tail which don't hold as well but again ive not flown one.

I have an Oxy3 and in my opinion, it's the best 300 sized heli around. It's capable of running very high head speed and is very stable. I'd expect no less from the Oxy2, which should be out by mid November. In any case, the Blade 180 is a nice heli and has great tail authority. However, I found the servo tabs were very brittle and susceptible to breaking. Good luck. Hey, a chance to get another heli is always a good thing, right?

I agree with Ronald ...

There is a tool for each occasion.
- can't build the foundation with a framing hammer, gotta come in with a bigger hammer
- I know it's not what you want to hear but powerful heli's have no place in your front yard unless you are somewhere in the middle of God's Country (aka middle of nowhere Montana!)

My suggest:
- SIM at home
- Hit the field with a 550 or bigger Heli!
- Let's do it right sir!

He loves small helis and they allow him to fly at home. (He may already have bigger helis for the field).

Blade 180.

Ide suggest the Trex 150 but you would need just as much room to fly one than the 180 as they are a handful especially if there is ANY wind. The tail is much better on the 180 anyway.

The Blade 230 Night looks interesting and you could fly it at midnight if you desired!

Bigger does not mean gigantic. A 450 sized heli will give him a power system and drive train that are true (no motor on the tail or terrible TT design) and will still be "small" enough to fly in a back yard or small field.
Small helis are cool, till you want them to perform consistently like a large one OR you have to work on them

450's are all huge 6s monsters these days but I guess you could still put 325mm blades on them and lower the head speed to make them less jumpy in small spaces.

To each his own I guess as I would not use "monster" or "huge" to describe a 450...

I do have a 450- 500- and 90 size but want a small front yard beater the 130x is ok but power is a problem and the nano cps is pretty much a disposable heli good for a short time imo

I am unstable and have no safe mode
