Does V-Bar work on 3 bladed rotor heads?

Also what is the difference with the VLink and non-VLink Vbar Neo? It's no clear on their website.

Thanks guys..

Looking to buy a new VBar for my Trex 600 3 Blade setup and would rather not use the MicroBeast Plus it shipped with.

Never ran 3 bladed heads but from my understanding is that everthing works the same but ur just adding one blade so ur gains would probably be different and the amount of pitch you'll run. You would want to run less pitch not to bog the motor down. The gain you would want to play with to find what works with your setup. Vlink somebody else would have to let u know. Haven't ran vbar for awhile.

Yes it will work with a 3 bladed head. Some have the phasing adjustments built into the head (SAB), some you have to adjust (done in the vbar). You will need to pro software.
A VLink NEO has a VControl receiver built into it. A Non VLink does not but they both work with any tx (including VControl), you just have to plug a receiver into it (single line like SBUS or a VControl sat).

Does the Vbar link receiver work on Spektrum transmitters. My assumption is it does.

In a word, yes.

But you still need spektrum sats to plug in to it.

in short: the v-link means "Vcontrol radio antenna built in"

The vlink antenna only works with Vcontrol. But, you don't have to use it. You can still plug your Spektrum sats in to the ports on the side of the NEO and bind your radio to those just fine. You just won't be using the vlink portion of the NEO.

If you have zero intention of ever moving over to Vcontrol, you'd save money by getting the non-vlink version. But, even if you did ever move over to Vcontrol all you'd need is to purchase the Vcontrol satellite and plug in to it.

Clear as mud yet?

if it ain't broke, break it.

That explains it perfectly. I just need the plain version and the pro software.

Thanks everyone for your help!

That's how I've done all of mine. Buy the express unit from mikadousa. Then pay $100 for Pro/Rescue at vstabi.de

For $150 US, you could by a MSH Brain with bluetooth built in.

And, you don't need to worry about Pro, Rescue and BS add-ons that drive the price to over $300

Would you rather drive a Ferrari or a Mercedes?

Now that MSH has Jeti integration, why get stuck with a "closed system" that nickle and dimes you to death?

The new Brain 2 has too many features to ignore.

I sold all my Skookum stuff and went 100% MSH.

And, the Brain works great with 3 bladed rotor heads (lol)

Regardless of location, uninvited evangelism is annoying.
