is it possibly to know the state of charge of my receiver battery with the triton eq charger? if i do a full charge on an already charged battery that can't be good, how do I find out its current level before charging or discharging it?

No way to know the exact charge state it's in. Some tx have a free running clock to tell how long the tx been on. Could use that to keep track of the power usage . Could use a ESV to check the voltage to give some idea of charge state.

battery

If I overcharge it will my triton eq prevent damage by cutting off power or going in a trickle charge?

If you charge at 400 ma you shouldn't do any harm to the battery . Unless you leave it connected for an extremely long time. The voltage should be about 5.8 for a 4 cell nimh when it peaks out.

I know from experience that for every flight I make on my 600 n's it takes approximately 1 hour of charge time. So if the charger shuts down early I know something is wrong.
