I suggest you start off with a Blade Nano QX FPV 2 BNF. You will also need FPV goggles or monitor w/ 5.8g vrx.

If the 180 will take some more payload, a cheap fpv camera and a 5.8 transmitter for the camera and either monitor or goggles. You can look on rcgroups. Check under fpv and find some good deals.

I bought a small tactic camera, mounded under the quad 180 works great, I'm used a tablet for now, system works ok, it a lot harder then it looks, I may have sparked some interest with my grandson. And that's what I had in mind.

Mate, if you are using a pc/apple/android tablet to view (via wifi) then this is going to make it harder to fly fpv because there is a lot of signal lag. Best thing I can suggest is to try to find some local FPV guys (there should be lots in your area) and get some good local advice.

Starting off your grandson with crap fpv gear is not going to help you keep him, or youself, interested for long imho.

Cheers,
