Received a coax heli for Fathers day....have since progressed to a fixed pitch V911 and have been banging it around the house for about a month. Two weeks ago I purchased a Phoenix simulator and have been using it for structured practice. Hovering daily right now for 20 minutes at a time in the simulator simply trying to ingrain orientation into these 50 year old fingers...it's coming but slowly...It reminds me of me learning to play guitar many years ago..I try to run a couple of packs in the V911 when not too windy outside but I am getting anxious for my first CP heli. I have noticed in last couple of days that I have been able to make corrections in the sim a little easier.

Seems like you are going in the right direction. I was 59 when I started flying helis and now I am able to some 3D, I can even scare myself at times! My biggest help was the flight sim!
Keep up the good work.....It will pay off!

Where do you fly in Cincinnati?
I may be living there for a couple of months while I am in training.
Also any good hobby shops in that area?
