Stan, have seen these tail rotors from CNC Heli and they look good. I have also read that they are no good but, that part of the build is way down the road.

Lightfighter,

Oh, you meant the rotor head.

Century Diamond 5 blade. Although my 4 blade has the diamond logo on the top of it, this one doesn't and it came in the same packaging with same instructions. Clone? Who knows. I bought it from Heli-World when they were selling off the scale stuff.

Ron

I didn't crash. I just ran out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas all at the same time!

Four Blade Tail

I have been running mine for about a month now on a rex 500 and haven't had a problem.. the setup was interesting and I had to mod 4 of the links to get the proper pitch range, but once that was done, no problems so far!!!
Will try to load a picture for you.... haven't done that in awhile!!

450 stuff has always been hard to work on for me due to it being so small. 600 is a lot easier.
cockpit and pilot? You will have a good time building it.

The 5 blade P&P head looks the same as the P&P heads that RCA used to sell (maybe still do ?). I don't remember them ever being that price though. I think I paid around US$280-300 for my 4 blade direct from them.

Ron,Enjoying your post's
Looking at your pilots hands, if you use a hot air gun, you can soften the hand and mould it to the joystick
I have done this a few times

Somebody correct me if I am wrong but, I don't think that a head with the J hooks,(plug n play some call it) will work using a 600 pro frame. The swash will sit too low as you will be using a longer main shaft. You cant raise the swash as the anti rotation part is fixed. I would suggest a regular head that you can purchase the correct swash to blade grip rods. A fbl unit that has electronic blade phasing is preferred for me.

Interesting!!

Definetly not a good ad for that head!!
But, none of them are made to "hit" anything.. I recall the Lightning heads... everybody and thier brothers were all saying how poorly they flew.. I got a deal on one, so gave it a try.. mine worked perfectly and I sold the heli after about the fifth season with the head still on it..
Not saying this guy is wrong, buy he did crash the head..
Not sure about a pnp on the Pro Ron... your going to find that info from someone else.., I use both types of heads... straight type on my competition scalers, and PNP is fine for my sport scalers...
