Yesterday, Monday, there is already a very large presence of Nitro powered helicopters at the AMA site. Many are commenting that the return of nitro is picking up pace.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

I've always said nitro will stay around . Electrics do make it easy to fly with getting parts and batteries shipped to your door but with 4 to 6 min flights and wait time between flights . I have been lucky to have LHS close to me to get fuel and parts .Electrics are cool but nitro is more cost effective for me as well as flight times . My main issue is when I get warmed up and start getting a good flight , batteries die .

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

Nitro is alive and well... It's the keyboard jockeys that say otherwise....

I'm glad someone is still flying nitro. I've just started to get into electrics, but they don't seem to give me the same thrill as electrics! Throttle hold just isn't the same!

Whoever said it was dead or dying in the first place didn't know what they were talking about.

When in doubt....fly higher!

My local hobby shop was out of my preferred heli nitro yesterday, the rest of the shelves that used to have gallons and gallons of nitro were looking kind of bare. I was thinking the drones finally took over as I walked out empty handed. I hope that nitro continues to live on with the new nitro models being introduced.
