My opinion, yes for your first helicopter, but have you ever flown one before? Because if its not your first one, then you will to get with someone that has experience with them so you don't hurt yourself or someone else.

Yes I flew 250 and 500 align copters before...just been out of it for a few years just didn't know what prices are like now. When I flew before I could do rolls and flips but no real 3d so to speak.

Yes that is a fantastic price. As all have stated, this is a big heli and can bite you hard and fast. I started out with a 600 size but I had a friend to mentor me along the way. Please get some help with your first flights at a local club or with an experienced pilot. You will learn much quicker and your experience will be far better.

Cheers,

Paul

If it were me, I would want to see it flying before I put my bucks down. It is a good price, but price is not everything.

You need HELP with this helicopter. Don't even begin to think that you can do this yourself. Seek out other pilots that are flying similar equipment.

I think he's going to be fine. Maybe everyone could calm down a bit?

I agree with Heli Splatter. Ask the owner if he/she is willing to demonstrate it. If they decline than they are selling an "as is" and your offer should reflect this condition.

We don't know his situation, so we are acting on the side of caution. I don't know what you are trying to do. He is paying less than I paid for a POS Blade400 NIB. Wow how times have changed.

I replied before seeing his post about flying 250's and 500's before. Should be all good to go.

Happy flying..

What is it worth

Thank you for the responses.....I did buy his whole lot that he had....copters were in great condition just needed a thorough go through. I got most of the settings to where I wanted them by eye, took it out and it hovered ok. I have been out of the game for some time so I am headed to the hobby shop for a pitch gauge and a bubble level. Then will have to look up some "factory" settings for the mixing and what not. The other copter I got from him was no more than looking up some settings and binding to my TX and it is doing well.
