I love the marking on the top of the right stick. I know it's probably an arrow. But, it looks more like a question mark, which is what I choose to believe it really is.

if it ain't broke, break it.

His transmitter is a piece of junk... only has servo reversing...I don't predict a long life span for this guy.

I don't think that he is using anything but hobby electronics for his stabilization. Probably an early KK board at that.

considering what he accomplished I think the rest of us 95% could only make excuses claiming we didnt have the right equipment.

Never let excuses like low quality parts keep you from trying...with better stuff this guy is likely to be flying laps around his property. My hats off to him for not only building a octapod big enough to carry him and with engines strong enough to lift his giant balls, but also doing it with minimal equipment.

Its guys like this that create and make the rest wonder, that maybe somethings are not so impossible after all as long as you try hard enough and work hard enough.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

For those with the initiative and a calculator and some things off the shelf, there is fun to be had. Also a possible trip to the hospital. But hell, sometimes in life you gotta live on the edge .

RM3... Well I did basically the same project 5 years ago. This is NOTHING more than an octocopter with 8ea 100cc engines. Did it, done it.

This is NOT difficult. With that expenditure, and his life on the line, I would expect better command and control than the JUNK he is using. He is not advancing the science one iota. Kind of like the guy in Connecticut that put a hand gun on a quad copter. It has been done.

So while you guys are so damn easily impressed. It takes a lot more than that to get me interested. Just how many multis have you built? I just finished and test flew another today.

Man I would be putting some guards around the leg area in the first video! Nothing to stop his legs bouncing out and into the props!
