I have three of them but only fly them indoors when it's raining up here in the PNW.

Just bought two new ones for backups. They do have good power.

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

You're right about the power! At least compared to the brushed MCPX.I spent some time trying to tame mine down for living room flying but it's still a handful. I need to spend a little more time with it. I've got so many of these micro and nano birds now and I keep bouncing back and forth between them that I never seem to get to the finish tweaking once I get them flying good. Now I'm playing with the 450's again so this could take a while.

Yeah so I put on some landing skids from a Blade 130x, wider stance, the stock skids are pretty whimpy and are prone to tip-overs. Added a carbon fiber plate to the bottom and used micro screws to attach to the mainframe also added velcro for the Li-po's. The stock Li-po cage is rather tight when using any after market Li_po's like Pulse for example. This guy has such a high power to weight ratio that extra grams don't seem to make a difference.

Hey Doug thanks. I have lots of upgrades but the metal swash is probably the best upgrade. And blades make a difference but its like expo, what I like you may hate so try a couple sets and find some you like

Yeah Blades for sure, I just tried some brite yellow blades cut down in length fron a 130 and they are my favorite so far, I like being able to see the spinning rotor disk. The black stock blades kinda disappear depending on the background.

I'm still flying an all original first generation MCPX. The motors have been replaced a couple of times, but other than that, no other parts have been replaced. It's like a mosquito with too much caffeine. Going to crash, just hit throttle hold. Amazing little heli for what it is.

Yeah, the lighter they are the lighter they fall for sure. I had an mcpx when they first came out and will probably get another one, they can be had for 50 bucks or so used. They could use a little more power in their stock form but for sport flying really inexpensive Fun that won't cost you an arm and a leg---unless of course you upgrade the living hell out of it

Just found my BL again after opening a box of miscellaneous stuff after moving. Charged it up and it took right off. Forgot how much fun this little critter is.
