I'm just a not a big fan of the belt. I know why they are doing (gear ratios). I hope they release both a TT version and belt. Or the belt might be part of a transmission like mikado extreme series. But if they do make a TT version, it might be like the gaui X3. Gaui does have one edge design, its much easier to replace front TT gears.

I looks like plastic main blade grips and non DFC head. I know hard to say for sure with these pictures but that's what it looks like. I wonder if they are trying to get the price lower?

I think this might be the sport version , and next will be a pro version. The good news is that the pictures I first posted on align 700x Dominator are real. Same source had the 470L pictures 2 days before Align release them on facebook.

By way of speculation and suspecting that this is a reaction by them to counter the Gaui X3L, Goblin 380, Protos 380 etc, etc, it might just be a 380 in blade size ?

they couldn't call it a "380", while the "450" is actually smaller, but by upping it by 20mm, they might just be indicating the blades go from 360 to 380 ....

It runs 380mm blades, and should come with the new DS450 HV servos as well.

Aling has 360 blades now, i wonder if they are comming out with 380 blades for this or just gonna use the 360 blades they have now.
I use 360 Align blades on my Goblin 380. Half the price of SAB 380 blades

380 size big deal?

I asked why in another forum; the common answer was price and repair costs.
biggest heli that can use micro servo's.

I have a 450 and a 500 so I looked into costs of repairing and build cost
the 380 is on par with the 500
batteries costs a little less

Just like ICUR1-2 said, price of fixing 450 size vs 500 is much less. Some Bad crash on 500 size cost me $200+. Worst crash every on 450 costed me $70. Also 450 are much much easier to travel with. I have on issues taking one on the plane in my carry on.
