Naw... I've gone older school! I've been having a ball with my Blade 400. Everyone I know had one of these plus lifetime supply of parts - and they gave all the parts to me when they decided they didn't like the little heli any more. I'm not sure I like the thing either but I have so many part, and because I'm the last one holding the Blade 400 bag, I HAVE to fly this thing.

It does flies pretty good. I really have been having fun with it.

I still have mine an T rex 450 Se conveted to a V2 except for the metal frames. and still flys as it did when i got it....been in the dirt a hundred times and still flys great. I learned to fly on this bird. I will keep it in flying condition as long as parts can be found to keep it in the air.

Cool, out of all the heli's that have come and gone it seems like Align 450 parts are readily available.
Still flying:
Nice fleet ya got there, I remember you from 3 years ago gmcullan. To go back before the TREX 450 I had a ECO 8 heli about 1997 or so, learned without a Sim the "Hard way" and I do mean hard as in "Hard ground" and "Hard cold cash"

Doug, I go back to the mid 70's with a Schluter Heli-Baby and Heli-Boy, neither of which had a gyro and were flown with Kraft single stick radio systems.

My current flight ready fleet consists of 21 helis and 5 quads with another 5 in the boneyard. My newest heli is a Blade 360CFX, and even that one is starting to get "old".

I have one that is 3 to 5 years old, still in the box along with a scale military heli kit for the 450, and it is also still in the box. Just went to larger ( 600 then 710), but even those are shelf queens now. I am a gadget man, buy, build, learn to use and adjust, then move on to something else.
Right now I have a small laser cutter that has all my spare time interest.
So the heli:s will remain in the box for another year or so.

Paul, by my standards, those helis count as current vintage. Heck, my Raptor 30 V2 is still on its original wooden blades.

These helis last a good long time one you stop crashing.

Oh oh, I hope I didn't just wave the fickle finger of fate and doom myself to a crash!
