Guys, my friend is looking for a Quad, I know nothing about them, and I cant talk him into a heli, I have tried many times,, he just wants something cheap to tinker with and chase the rabbets with LOL, < that's what he said LOL

what can you guys recommend for a Quad under $200, it must come with the Radio,

BTW, he wants a camera on it LOL,,,, all for less than $200,,, yet I may be able to talk him out of the camera if it's a good Quad for $200-

thanks big time guys !!!

Gearhead,
Look at the blade line of small quads
Looks like a couple with cameras for way under $200
Zerok is one with camera battery and controller for $159
I do not own one, so no personal experience just figured it would fit the criteria

While the jury is still out on the Zerok, you might want to check out the Zugo. The Glimpse is also in the price range and is FPV using a smart phone or small tablet as a monitor. I have flown the last two and they fly well.

Mike, I think that the person coming up with these quadcopter names is the same person that names new medications.

Gerry - so there should be "street names" for these quads then!

...like skunk, reefer, blunt, bump, crank, tina, chalk, poppers, whippets, etc!

You sort of lost me. I was thinking of prescription medications rather than street/recreational drugs.

As an example, one of the meds I use in the treatment of my diabetes is called Buyetta. The compound, now synthesized, was first discovered in the saliva of the ghila monster. So my running joke is that I have to inject myself with lizard spit twice a day.
