I have a Talon 90 on my Logo 550sx with JR NX8925 servos. At the moment I have the BEC set at 6v, the servos can handle 8v but im worried the single BEC lead won't handle the extra current on the higher voltage. Anyone running a similar combo on 8v?

I had a Logo 500 I sold with hv servos, Talon 90 running 6vs. I changed it to 8v to see how hot it gets,as I'm not a stick banger,so I was good. But to err on the side of caution, if you fly hard,I would disable the internal bec,run and cc bec pro or your choice of bec. Just to be safe.....just my 2 cents...

Thanks for the reply. I just did a little bench test by wiggling all 4 servos (rudder in rate mode) as fast as I could for a minute or 2 and could not get the RX to brown out. I did further tests with a multimeter on the RX +/- servo pins and the voltage was 7.82v and the lowest I saw it drop was 7.5v so im happy with that.
