so whats the plan?

pack it up and hope for a return? or jump into FPV drone racing...

cause i see no money in RC helis..new, used or in development.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

The main reason quads are popular is because our social media society obsessed with camera footage of everything has found an easy and affordable platform to get more camera recordings.

If cameras could not be installed on multi rotors this sector would instantly be a moot point. It would die.

Cameras on helicopters is harder and more expensive. How many fpv collective pitch pod and booms are marketed? Plus, you still are required to learn to fly and maintain a real Heli.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

cameras make many people minds, no doubt, but a guy that chooses to fly drones instead of helis do it because it is way easier, imo. rc helis are really hard to fly and any mistake is very expensive.

The phase we went thru in the late 70's and early 80's was just Nutt's Hilarious and FUNN ! Lot of work !

To adjust your pitch you carried a pair of crescent wrenches - No Kiddin !!

Literately carried Garbage can lids and wore hard hats and run for your lives type stuff. Then running into each other trying to escape.

If you could hover - you where a big shot. Personally bailed back then because, realized at the time, just didn't have the necessary technology to take the pain out of it nor the $$$$ to purchase it.
LOT's of hours of work for 5- minutes of Up- Time success.

The 1st forward flight witnessed going full tilt, was a kalt baron 30 on basic Futaba 4 channel FN. The landing was just as cool.

Greatest thrill getting off the training sticks - then pushing the nose over into forward flight - then getting it down. Then Fainting.

Do It again !

STUDY before : Then have a PLAN !!!
