I recently converted a Blade 450 3D to the "X" configuration using an AR7200BX receiver/FBL controller combo. I have this unit on at least 12 of my helis.

I changed the Eflite analog tail servo for an Align DS426M with a 1520 center pulse and 333 hz frequency as referenced from the BeastX servo chart.

Rudder control and correction directions have been verified. When setting Rudder endpoints, right rudder results in a solid blue light while left rudder results in a solid purple light. This indicates that the servo has sufficient throws in both directions.

The issue is that upon leaving the setup menu there is an extremely small amount of servo throw, just a fraction of what it is capable of.

I've double checked all my settings, including that the TX is set for 100% throw and there is no expo or dual rate on the rudder channel.

What am I missing???????

Stupid me! I have my tail gyro gain assigned to switch "D" on my DX9. I had bumped the switch to the middle position that had a "0" % gain value. Went back to position "0" with a 50% gain value and all is well.

I spent over an hour checking settings in both the radio and AR7200BX programming settings, never ever thinking to check the switches on my DX9 because of course they are never changed.

Can I blame the cat? She likes to rub up against everything. Yes, that's the ticket. The cat moved the switch. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
