Looks like maybe they made the rotor head not sit as high. On the rcjapan website, the heli shows a carbon frame and new tail case.
I am totally relieved to see a new part number for SDX. I was worried after I seen the last model discontinued. Long live the SDX.

I've had the short rotor head almost a year. It came out for the TD3V2 as an upgrade.

Just looked at the RC Japan listing and the photos are incorrect.

Not sure why but they have put up the 3-view and photos for the Turbulence D3v2.

Nice SDX. I would love to buy one but my wife would kill me. Also the Australian dollar is terrible at the moment.

0414-571 SSL-II Yoke

You will also need;

2522-044 Strengthened 2mm adjust rod M2X55

You would want to double check though.

Yes but with a catch!

It is 0414-578. This is for the Turbulence and Eagle. The SDX has different blade grips as I understand it. Having said that I'm sure it could be made to work.

They will have a new head part number the SL-II head but now ones knows it until you can go look through the new manual. Only change I can tell for the new kit is the shortened yoke that came out for the latest Eagle.

I have a new Shuttle 2+ that I've slowly been setting up over the last year. I first learned on a Shuttle Challenge, I had it when I met my wife back in 2000 and she surprised me with a new Shuttle 2+ last Christmas with a OS SZ-H .37 from RC Japan. I bought my Shuttle SWM conversion from Jeff Green and hirobofanusa.com. Now I'm wondering if I should have stuck with the original shuttle HPM setup.

I can't get over the value of the Shuttle. You can buy a complete kit for less than some models would cost to repair after a crash.

I'm excited about flying it soon and will probably end up wanting another Hirobo helicopter because, well, one is not as much fun as two right?

SDX SL-2 FBL head

The new SL2 FBL head with the shorter center hub for the Sceadu series arrived yesterday as well as canopy, and kit. I should have them up on the site today. Head part number is 0412-347. Thanks all for the kind words and support!! Jeff

Still no problems, only solutions, governed by MARSHALL AMPLIFICATION. I'm a HIROBO Fan, R U?

New canopy. This is the Original Hirobo D3 canopy it is of a much higher quality to the airbrushed D3v2 canopy. It is also twice the price. I find this one a lot easier with orientation particularly at a distance. I have found the v2 canopy quite difficult to fly with.

I have made various minor changes to this helicopter and it is now my favourite. It sits rock sready now with the undercarriage legs sloped backwards. I use mine for sport flying at 1450rpm and 1550rpm and can't get enough of it!
